Product Info for Barnes Varmint Grenade 6mm Rifle Bullets
Based on a design Barnes developed for military applications, the hollow-cavity, flat-base bullet features a copper-tin powdered metal core surrounded by a guilding metal jacket. The bullet remains intact at ultra-high velocities in fast twist barrels, while its highly frangible core fragments violently on impact. The bullet produces instant fragmentation, virtually vaporizing ground squirrels and prairie dogs, even at long range. The Grenade produces instant fragmentation, almost always expelling their energy, seldom exiting larger predators like bobcats and coyotes, leaving valuable pelts virtually undamaged. No matter what model or caliber you end up choosing, they all feature a unique double-diameter, double-threaded design just inside the case that allows hunters to convert a case-seated bullet to a handgun cartridge simply by turning the release sizing screw on the case-head release sizing screw to a telescopic handgun cartridge.
